The ritual of burning sage, also known as smudging, is an essential part of many Native American cultures and is one of the oldest and purest methods of cleansing a person, group of people, or space and of getting rid of unwanted negative energy.Please note, due to a shortage of white sage for indigenous cultures we will be switching to alternative burning sticks once our supplies are sold  Directions:Set your intentions prior to burning the sage stick; expelling existing negative energy and inviting positive enery flows into your space. Hold at an angle pointing down and light the tip of the smudging stick. Blow out any flame so that only smoke is produced and direct the smoke around your body or space and allow the incense to linger.  When finished the ritual place the stick in the smuding plate. Never leave a smudging stick unatended while it is emitting smoke.
